Passports are required to cross the border back into the U.S. On group reservations passport numbers are required on the manifest and should be submitted 7 – 10 days prior to departure. CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION Be reminded you are traveling to a foreign country and the laws of Canada prevail regarding entry. The Immigration Authority reviews all passport #’s to prescreen guests and they have the final say on a guests’ eligibility for admittance. Some things can prevent admittance into Canada are pretty straight forward such as: involvement in a criminal activity, human rights violations, or being a member in organized crime. Other things that can affect entry are if a guest has been convicted of a felony (i.e. DUI), or any security or health issues. If a guest is unsure if they would or would not be denied entry into Canada I would encourage them to visit http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html to view the rules for admittance. Along the way you will have a brief stop at the US/Canada border where they may ask to see your passport and ask a few questions such as how much cash you are carrying.
