Located outside the Beach Tower, this meandering lagoon is home to green sea and hawksbill turtles indigenous to The Bahamas. During feeding times, guests have the opportunity to touch and feed the turtles.

Named for the green color of its body fat, it typically feeds on sea grasses. This protected reptile must surface to breath, but can stay underwater for hours depending on its activity and the water temperature. They can slow their heartbeat to one beat every few minutes, conserving oxygen. Sea Turtles never come onto the land except when females come to nest. She can lay eggs 7 times in one breeding season, having over 100 eggs in each nest. Hatchlings weigh less than one ounce, but mature adults
can weigh up to 330 lbs.
